Uninstall netbeans from ubuntu

Open Ctrl+Alt+t

Paste your directories where netbeans install e.g.:

cd /home/rahul/netbeans-7.3.1

then  type:-

./uninstall.sh
Now it completely remove from your system.

How to remove temperary files from the system?

There are two commands for remove temp files from the system:-

1. sudo rm -rf /tmp/*

Another one is-

2. sudo apt-get autoremove
   will remove automatically all unused packages.

How do I reset a lost administrative password?

Press Esc, and choose Advanced options

Choose recovery mode:

Using the arrow keys scroll down to either root or
netroot (doesn't matter in this case) and then hit Enter.

You should now see a root prompt, something like this:
root@ubuntu:~#
At this stage you should have a read-only filesystem. You have to remount it with write permissions:
mount -rw -o remount /
Now we can set the user's password with the passwd command. :
root@ubuntu:~# passwd shellcode
Enter new UNIX password: 
Retype new UNIX password:
passwd: password updated successfully
root@ubuntu:~#
Type in what you want the new password to be at the prompt. After it's successful reboot the machine and the user will be able to log in with their new password.

How to create a new table in existing database?

1. mysql -u root -p
     press enter button then type your password of mysql.
2. mysql> show databases;
3. mysql> use author;   (Author is an database in mysql).
4. mysql> show tables;
5. mysql> create table books(book_name varchar(20), editions int(10));
6. mysql>insert into books values('rahul',4);

Now you can check on your database tables is added one more table.
